OFFICE HOURS

Our office is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, excluding the lunch hour, and 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday. Dr. Ray is usually in the office in the afternoons (and Friday mornings), but she has flexibility for scheduling at other times with established clients or for testing. Weekend testing may be available upon request.

My practice focuses on assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of areas. I have been in independent practice since 2000, and in addition to maintaining a private practice, I have consulted and contracted with various agencies, including juvenile justice, children's

mental health, and social security administration. In 2008, I obtained my Medical Psychology license to prescribe psychotropic medication and incorporate prescriptive authority into my work with children and adults if needed. My philosophy of therapy relies heavily on the therapeutic relationship. Your comfort and satisfaction in talking to me is the most important aspect of your treatment. I operate from an overall experiential and solution-focused framework and utilize many different treatment modalities as tools for change.

Trula Miranda is Dr. Ray's receptionist and office manager. She answers your call and can address your questions. In addition, she is responsible for scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, and collecting payments.

Dr. Ray provides medication intervention and management for many psychological problems. She generally prescribes only for her own patients, though referrals may be made upon request from a treating source with on-going consultation. Please inquire with our office staff for additional information.

Initial Clinical Interview: 90 min - $300Individual/Family Therapy: 45 min - $150Individual/Family Therapy: 90 min - $300Medication Management: $75Individual Therapy & Medication Management: 25 min - $100Individual Therapy & Medication Management: 45 min - $200Phone consultations are available upon request and will be billed at the prorated therapy rate (except for the initial consultation inquiry, which will be at no charge). Psychological and psychoeducational testing fees are based on tests administered, not by time. Please contact us to inquire about testing fees.

PAYMENT POLICY

Dr. Ray's office is a fee for service office. She is not an in-network provider for any insurance company. Payment is due in full at the time services are rendered. Ask your insurance company about out-of-network mental health benefits eligibility. If you wish to file a claim with your insurance carrier for out-of-network reimbursement, we can provide you with an invoice detailing the diagnosis and procedure codes you will need to file the claim.Please note that Medicaid does not have any out-of-network benefits. If your insurance reimburses for out-of-network services, the insurance company should send payment directly to you.
